General Notes (Husband)

Ran a garage in Dunmore PA.

"Peck bought a Tavern with living quarters over it and what family was left moved in. How long they lived there I don't know as I was never there. The place caught fire and it turned out to arson and Peck was arrested for setting it for the insurance money. While in prison I've been told that Gertrude had a baby girl with a lot of dark hair but then disappeared. Mom said that she didn't know if the baby was given up for adoption or what but nothing has ever been said about it again. I don't know if Peck and Gertrude were divorced while he was in prison or after but the children were split up between the two of them and Donna and Butch went to live with Peck and Susan with Gertrude. I remember my parents saying that Peck lived on a farm and that the kids were running wild."
"Marion Reese"

General Notes (Wife)

When Gertrude met Les (Leslie) Miller I don't know but he was in the service, Air Force, I think and took Susan with them. They had three children the oldest a boy and then the twins who were born in Japan. I don't know if Gertrude and Les
were divorced or if he died. I do know that after he got out of the service they lived in Scranton. Last I heard Susan was married and living in California.
